An ancient Viking map could prove that the Vikings sailed to North America 500 years before Columbus. The program explores the Viking settlement in Canada, follows the work of authenticating the map, demonstrates how the Vikings navigated such distances  and builds the case that Columbus would have been aware of the Viking discovery.
